Set up the room
Choose a bright room with indirect daylight. Stand away from the wall so your head does not cast a hard shadow. Use a tripod or ask another person to hold the phone at eye level.
- Clean the lens
- Turn off Portrait mode and filters
- Use the 1× rear camera
- Leave space around the head and shoulders
Take the photo
Look directly into the lens, keep both shoulders level and take several frames. Do not zoom digitally. A little extra space is useful because the final crop depends on the document.
